Placement Policy

All puppies will be handled, socialized, loved and basic training started. All puppies have their tails docked and dew claws removed at three days old to breed standard specifications.

Upon receipt of your deposit, Shaireabs Bayleigh will mail you our puppy packet containing our contract for your perusal, instructions on training and grooming, and recommendations for puppy equipment.

All litters are graded at 8 weeks of age to determine which puppies will be kept as show prospects. Puppies are placed in the order of deposits received, and can go home at approximately 9 weeks of age. Please understand that a particular puppy will NOT be promised prior to the 8th week health clearance and evaluation.

All puppies are micro-chipped and examined by a Board Certified Ophthalmologist, Cardiologist and Orthopedist before being placed.

We prefer new owners to pick up their puppy, but we understand that this is not always an option. We will ship puppies when climate and temperature conditions permit. Puppies are shipped by Delta Airlines in a solid, airline-approved crate. An additional charge is made for shipping, to cover the cost of the health certificate, the crate, shipping charges and airport transportation.

All puppies will go home with a health guarantee, shot record, feeding instructions and a few days supply of kibble and canned food, a five generation pedigree with pictures of sire, dam and puppy, micro-chip information, a signed contract, collar, lead, bone, toy and treats.
